Sometimes It's Just Fate

Do you ever have moments in your life where all the right things happen at all the right times? It seems I've had more than my fair share of these perfect sequence of events.

I'm a true believer in Universal Balance, but sometimes it feels like the scale is tipped in my favor more often than not. I feel guilty about it sometimes. It's not that I don't think I'm deserving. It's just that there are so many people out there where things never really work out for them. I keep waiting for the ball to drop, but so far nothing. Don't get me wrong - my life is not perfect, but nothing truly horrible has ever happened to me. That's become my mantra during stressful times or when I'm feeling anxious. I just keep saying to myself "Nothing bad ever happens to me," and then this calming feeling comes over me. It only works because I know this to be true so far in my life.

I was determined to make 2010 the year of change for me. Change everything that is unsatisfying about my life. Free myself of boredom and enjoy life a little more. Determined not to let fear hold me back, I set out to do things that scare me. I'm a planner through and through, so to do anything without a solid plan is always a bit unnerving. So I planned on only having a partial plan and let fate take me the rest of the way. If it's meant to be it will. So far, I like where fate is taking me.
